Curling: An exciting sport with a long tradition
Apart from ice skating, there are other fun activities you can do on ice. Have you ever tried curling? This is a sport with its roots in the Alps. Since hundreds of years people have been using this sporty fun activity. Whole villages play against each other in entertaining and thrilling matches. This sport connects people!
This is how it works: The players aim for a target, the so-called “Daube”. The “Stock”, made of wood and iron, is thrown on the ice. Whoever gets the Stock closest to the Daube takes the win! Precision, accuracy and strategic thinking are important to be successful. Sounds easy? Try it out! What better place is there to give ice stock sport a try than Seefeld!
We offer an in-depth instruction in technique and to all the rules of the game. All holders of the Olympiaregion Seefeld Card can use this service exclusively and at no cost. This guarantees a lot of fun for the whole family! Once you learned how to play, it’s time to go on ice.
